Farmers Knowledge Being Documented and Shared: the characterization of cultivated and uncultivated c

At the community seeds banks under the RAEBIA-Timor Leste program with USC Canada (www.usc-canada.org), the farmer committees are assembling seed catalogs with detailed characterization of cultivated and uncultivated crops. This happens over many seasons of the year and at different stages of plant growth and harvest. The characterization process is open and participatory and a key feature of documenting as well as supporting the increase the food and seed security resource gaps in the community. @usc-canada.org #usc-canada.org
